Disassociated Press - Mount Olympus
Athens - Setting: God's lounging in decadence. There is a national debate brewing in Greece about how their franchise is being run abroad. At the center of the controversy is New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd. Ms. Dowd has done what few Americans have done before her; she has raised the attention of Zeus. "It's not right. Even we follow some myth rules," father of all gods Zeus explained. "She thinks herself above the gods and this will not be tolerated." Not all of the gods were upset. Some were philosophical. "Well, she's a flash in the pan. No one will remember like we do Athena or Aphrodite," Hades opined to us. We reached Ms. Dowd for comment and all she would say was "I'm hurt. I am hurt and I am hungry. I could use a Swiss Roll right about now." As for rumours about her secret love for George Bush and alleged affair with Poseidon she had this to say "All lies. I already asked them out for a drink and they both said they were busy."
